Maintain Your Website

Hire a developer for Maintenance or Do It Yourself.

The internet is a live and lively medium. In order for your website to be a quality information resource, you must maintain and update it with current information. Options for doing this include, hiring a developer (We at Ask Joanne, LLC do site maintenance on an hourly rate of $75/hour with a 15 minute minumum charge.) or maintaining your site yourself.

Recommended software options for do it yourself this include:

  • Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004

    • Dreamweaver is website development software and the learning curve on it may be very large if you are only interested in doing basic site maintenance.

  • Macromedia Contribute 3.0

    • Is a wonderful software tool specifically designed for website content owners to be able to update their sites without worrying that their changes will affect the site structure or "break" anything in the site design.

    • We offer training on Macromedia Contribute 3.0 and can help you get started updating and maintaining your site.
