Ask Joanne's eNews
Just last week, I was telling
several colleagues how well my site was doing
in the organic (not-paid) listings on Google for
some of my primary keywords (Internet Marketing
Newtown CT).
When Lo and Behold, Google decided to update
their index and somehow my site got dropped altogether!
This is a reminder that even if you do all you
can to get the best search engine listings for
your site, sometimes things are out of your control.
By keeping my eyes on the web and catching the
problem quickly I was able to get a few Google
AdWords campaigns running, so my site shows up
in the sponsored listings for searches on High
Rankings and Google Rankings. This will sustain
my search engine presence until Google re-indexes
my site.
The moral of the story is not to rely too heavily
on search engine traffic for you business, but
remember to keep your eyes on the web to make
sure you are getting the best results possible
from your Internet Marketing efforts.
